A warm up is a way to start your class, which kinda eases the student into the new environment. I do all kinds of warm ups from songs, to chants, to games. I thought it might be a good idea to record some of the warm ups I use for my students, so I did. You can download them for free here. So far I have the following warm ups, with more to come:

I Like English Warm Up! (clap your hands, brush your teeth, etc.)
The Wiggle Warm Up (Touch your nose, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, etc.)
Expressions 1 Warm Up (are you ready? Yes, I am, etc.)

You can also do really simple things like actions to warm up your classes. Simply say, “clap, clap, clap” and have the students repeat “clap, clap, clap” after you. Of course, always do the actions while you say them. Some more simple ones: wash, shake, jump, spin, touch your nose, etc. It could be endless, use your imagination and start your class off in a really fun way!

So let’s warm up together and have some great classes!
